Welcome to the first last_arrival! If you're curious about what's going on here or are thinking about applying, feel free to take us for a test drive. Scenario: Your character has just arrived via the Return Point and taken the uneventful cart ride to a vast city known only to the locals as “the City”. You have no memories that go back 20 years (or less, up to you). You may have some strange new powers but those come with a rather nasty side effect, don't they? If you had a lot of powers, you'll either notice that they're gone altogether or that those nasty side effects are equivalent or worse than the power you're trying to use. Lucky for you it seems like the City is already populated. Unlucky for you, they don't exactly have the best handle on this situation either. Locations: City Streets You're fresh off the cart and just checked into the keep. Now you're free to wander the City and see what there is to see. Open Air Market You've checked in, sure but now you're still milling about the market. Feel free to see if anything you have will be an even trade. Tipping the Velvet Welcome to the brothel. We don't need to tell you what goes on here. Maybe you're looking for a job, maybe you're looking for a good time. Maybe you just want a good vodka drink. She nods, tongue running over her bottom lip for a moment as she considers that last sentence.

"Interesting people," she smiles a little. "That sounds nice. I don't-- meet people often." She laughs, realizing that must sound a bit odd. "I didn't get out a lot before this."

"You're out now," says Luna. "In fact, you're about as out as you can get." She makes it sound like a charming charming prospect even as she adds, "We're from all kinds of crazy places, but we're here together now."

"And some of us get along like napalm and trees," Noa mentions.

"But everybody's mostly decent here."

There's something about hearing her say it, say that she is free, that makes Loki start laughing. She's out, she's out, and she's not going back now. She's out and even if there's something chasing her, she can run.

It takes her a moment to get a hold of herself but then she's smiling, not small and nervous cheery and maybe a little manic. "Good customer service can go a long way as well as a gob well done."

She pushes back a few strands of hair that had fall en into her face, then looks between them again. "And you two feel like you work well together."
